Worship at 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. (Nursery Provided)
(During Summer months, single 10:00 AM service and no Sunday School)
Heritage Presbyterian Church is a growing, friendly,
and family-oriented congregation that has a healthy mixture of "old-timers"
and "new-comers." We include all of God's children in
our worship, educational and social life together. Come and experience
the warmth of our congregation and the love of God as we worship
and grow together.
Sunday School - 9:45 a.m.
(no Sunday School during the summer)
Classes are available for all ages. Nursery Care is available for
ages 2 and younger.
Worship - 8:30 a.m. & 11:00 a.m.
(Summer service 10:00 a.m. only)
We offer Divine Worship in the Reformed Tradition gathering in God's
name to hear God's word, and respond to God's invitation to serve
the world as God's reconciling community. All worshippers participate
through song, prayer, and liturgy. Everyone is welcome in
worship. Children are as necessary for our worship of God as everyone
else is. We
assist children to worship through a Children's Message and Worship
Bags, which help
children follow the service. A Children's Activity Time for children
ages 3-K begins
after the Children's Message. Nursery care is available for ages
2 and younger.
Music Ministry
We have a dynamic and growing music ministry which assists our worship
through adult
vocal and Choirs: Bell, Children & Chime and Youth Bell. Other
members occasionally
contribute to worship through their instrumental talents.
Membership
The Pastors lead informative and fun classes throughout the year
for those inquiring
into membership. The classes cover the basics of the Christian Faith,
the Presbyterian
Church (USA), and an introduction to the programs and activities
of our Church.
Mission
We are a congregation of the PC (USA). More than 15% of our revenues
help those in need. Through our denomination, we support regional, national and worldwide
ministries which send missionaries and disaster relief, help with economic development,
and support advocacy programs. Locally, we support a food bank, soup kitchen,
a homeless program and
Habitat for Humanity.
Fellowship Activities
Various small groups are available: Junior & Senior High Youth
Group, Church Get Togethers, Super Seniors, Presbyterian Women and Mens
Breakfast are just a few of the activities you can participate to
enrich your Christian Faith.
Library The Heritage Library offers a wide
range of resources for
adults, youth and children. A
large
section of picture books for young readers or for adults to read aloud
is
available for your family enjoyment.
