Deacons

Our Deacons facilitate a number of community outreach and mission projects throughout the year to enable our members to care for those in need right here in the Cincinnati area.  A few of our outreach ministries are:

  • Angel Tree Project, which supplies Christmas gifts to local families in need
  • Coat Drive
  • Food Baskets at Thanksgiving and Christmas
  • Hoxworth Blood Drive
  • Emergency Food Resources

Deacon Family Groups and Care for our Homebound Members

In addition to the mission activities, our Deacons help members of the congregation in times of need and offer regular care by dividing the membership into Family Groups.  Each member is connected to a specific Deacon who prays for them and offers care and connection to the church family.  Our Deacons also serve our membership by taking communion and occasional treats to our homebound members, sending cards, providing meals to new moms and those who have been in the hospital, providing transportation to church activities and doctors' appointments, and coordinating funeral luncheons.  If you, your family or anyone you know among the congregation need any type of assistance or prayer, you may contact one of the pastors or the church office (398-7671) or contact your family Deacon directly.
