Angel Tree
​During the month of November the Deacons will be collecting cash donations to the Angel Tree project. These donations will go to a local charity to purchase Christmas gifts and food items for people in need in our community. Any amount of Cash or Checks will be accepted until December 1. No gift cards will be collected this year.   
Journey to Bethlehem
Journey to Bethlehem is an annual event, open to the community where visitors can experience the sights, sounds, culture and events of the first Christmas.  This is a free, interactive, intergenerational event that transports visitors to Bethlehem on the night that Jesus was born.

​Here are some apps and resources for personal and family prayer and worship.
​The PCUSA Daily Prayer App (for iPhone users) provides brief services for Daily Prayer based on the Presbyterian Book of Common Worship, including: psalms for the day, readings from the daily lectionary, and prayers of thanksgiving and intercession.
  • Children and families can read a daily Bible verse and discuss how it relates to a monthly theme.  Use the 12 Month Family Scripture Challenge to encourage the habit of opening God’s Word every day.
  • The d365 daily devotional site, written especially for youth and young adults, seeks to provide reflections on themes that impact our faith journey.
  • Pray As You Go is a daily prayer session, designed to go with you wherever you go, to help you pray whenever you find time, but particularly while traveling to and from work, study, etc. Lasting between ten and thirteen minutes, it combines music, scripture and some questions for reflection.​​

  • Staying calm is important right now. Meditation can really help with that. While most of the popular meditation apps can be pricey, Smiling Mind is a free app developed by a non-profit. It's designed for all ages, so your whole family can benefit. If meditation is new to you, be gentle and patient with yourself. Just like anything else, quieting your mind takes practice.​​​
