All are welcomed! Invite friends, family, and neighbors of all ages. Come to all the Mission Possible events, or just a few! This is an intergenerational event - all ages are welcome. A reminder that children must be accompanied by an adult.
A weekly, intergenerational gathering, to complete a series of mission projects.
Wednesday evenings from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, beginning June 29
We will meet in the Fellowship Hall of Heritage Presbyterian Church, unless otherwise noted.
To be in community with our neighbors, in a safe manner.
To provide love, care and resources to neighbors in need. To have safe fun together, after a long season of quarantine. |

Mission #2: Plarn & Yarn✔️ Mission Accomplished! Our mission for today will focus on creativity and recycling. Come prepared to learn how to make “PLARN”, plastic yarn, that is created by recycling plastic grocery bags, and then woven into bed mats that are distributed to homeless through Matthew 25 Ministries. These mats provide a barrier against the elements when individuals must sleep outside.
For those that are interested, we will also learn some knitting and crocheting skills by some of our own HPC Knitters. Learn how to knit squares that are transformed in to blankets for Family Promise/IHN Ministry OR create scarves that will be donated to The Broken Bus Ministry of Dayton. |

We will have tasks for all ages and abilities; tasks for those with strong backs and legs, tasks for those who prefer to sit, tasks of organizing and pricing.
The proceeds from the PW Rummage Sale are used to support many of our local missions throughout the year. If you have donations for the sale, please feel free to contribute them to the sale. The more treasures that are sold, the more financial donations that are made to our local missions. |
